You’re invited to dive into the heart of yoga, learn the empowering self-healing tools of Ayurveda, elevate your asana practice, bring yoga off your mat and into your life, and for the select few...learn how to be a safe, effective, and empowered yoga and Ayurveda teacher in your community through Sacred Return Yoga & Ayurveda Immersion and Teacher Training. For those who successfully complete the Teacher Training, you may join Yoga Alliance, an internationally recognized organization, as a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher.
Yoga, a Sanskrit word for Union, is a multi-dimensional process of remembering your true nature and connection to all things. Yoga is not about the shape of your body, it is about the shape of your life. Like you, this journey is sacred. It may not be all roses but it will be the most rewarding journey you’ll ever take. Ayurveda, also known as ‘Yoga Health’, is the oldest complete form of medicine known to humans and emphasizes harmonizing the body and mind in preparation for the spiritual path of yoga. Yoga & Ayurveda work together, like yin and yang, on the premise that one can only heal from the inside out; and that peace must first start within. They offer simple, yet profound, healing modalities for modern times.
Sacred Return Yoga & Ayurveda Immersion and Teacher Training is a unique and one-of-a-kind training that integrates the sacred with the practical. As a natural bridge-builder I share and translate the sometimes-esoteric concepts into an approachable and easy to understand way for you to apply to your life, and the life of your clients, immediately.
This immersion training is a culmination of decades of study, learning, experiencing, practicing, falling, rising, spiraling and sharing yoga, Ayurveda, eastern philosophy, Oriental Medicine, and energy work with the people of diverse ages, abilities, and backgrounds around the globe. Now it’s your turn to step into this stream of knowledge and empower yourself.
DEEP BREATH IN...
Aaaaah, there you go! It's that simple.
Sacred Return Yoga & Ayurveda
Integrates Ayurveda and Yoga. You will learn Ayurveda as a tool for empowerment and self-healing. Ayurveda is based on diet and lifestyle modifications that are adapted for each person based on their personal constitution. This training will help you tailor the yoga practices (asana, pranayama, and meditation) to the individual, to the season, to the time of day, and to create a class that creates a specific energy you want your students to carry into their lives. You’ll never be left without a theme ever again.
Is leadership training. Using the wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda, you’ll be asked to do the work, to be the change, and to walk confidently, and to be a force of good in your community. You will develop the skills of a conscious leader.
Focuses on building foundations on and off the mat for balanced and connected living. Yoga is a practice of becoming a master of change and adaptability…so important in our structured gypsy, PCSing lives.
Embraces and encourages you to step into the sacredness of life. We move away from fitting-in to belonging, from the trying to being, from cup half empty to a cup half full--from the external to the internal. It is a sacred process of returning to your light within, the heart’s song and voice within that wants you to be YOU.
Encourages you to BE YOU! After all, no one does it better (big smiles). There is no one else on the planet like you and the World needs your special talents, gifts, and energy.
I look forward to connecting with you if you have any questions.
Why am I leading this training?
I’m on a mission to educate, inspire, and empower women around the globe to heal from their suffering or feeling of stuckness in life, feel nourished from the inside out, live connected to self, others, and nature, and shine unapologetically.
Yoga and Ayurveda are medicine for the people. In a time when it is obvious that quick fixes, pills, and disconnection is not the only answer. The simple, yet powerful, practices of yoga and ayurveda provide a solution for the complexities of modern day life. Everyone has the right to be treated as a whole person in body, mind, and spirit and to live nourished, despite the messaging all around us that you are not enough or broken. Your body was designed to THRIVE, grow, and be an unshakable force of good. Yoga and Ayurveda provide a roadmap to go beyond your history, your suffering, and discover your highest potential in body, mind, spirit. When you raise our own vibration, you raise the vibration of all beings...we heal, the planet heals, we become more connected, we unite, we live in integrity with our values, we shine unapologetically...we become the change we wish to see in the world.
You are Amazing.
It’s time to Live Connected.
Why take this training from me?
My experience goes beyond the mat and into the world of traumatic healing, subtle energy modalities, and western medicine. After a life designed to enter western medicine, my own health issues, chronic pain, and emotional suffering lead me to more holistic forms of healing. I became so obsessed with the whole-person experience offered in the yoga and Ayurveda system I got a Masters Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (yes, I’m a Licensed Acupuncturist in the United States), have taken several yoga teacher trainings, and studied Ayurveda with some of the most renowned Ayurveda doctors in the United States.
Since 2008 I’ve co-created yoga teacher trainings, created Integrated Yoga Anatomy for yoga teacher trainings, have been a guest teacher in yoga teacher trainings, mentored yoga teachers and wellness professionals around the globe, and have consulted with yoga studios in creating their own yoga teacher trainings. Every move I’ve been asked to lead a yoga teacher training but due to a plethora of excuses--mostly because I was still healing from my own post-natal journey and just didn’t have the energy to share what I knew what it would take to lead a life-enhancing program I’ve envisioned and began putting together all these years. Alas, now is the time—-it’s all divine timing! Aaaand I couldn’t be more excited to launch Sacred Return in the magical blue waters and healing energies of Okinawa, Japan!
