Private Sessions

Let Your Body Heal

I love empowering people, like you, to feel better from the inside-out with simple, yet powering, tools and wisdom from Ayurveda, Yoga, and Chinese Medicine.

Each session, online or in-person, is unique.  Each session is tailored to meet your health challenges, wellness goals, and/or mental-spiritual challenges.

After a thorough intake, including health history, personal evaluation, and physical assessments (as needed), I present you with individualized recommendations along with information regarding my assessment and findings.  Client education and creating meaningful solutions are the key to our time together.  The more you can do on your own, the fewer sessions you'll need with me. That's my goal!

The following modalities may be used or taught in our session: acupressure, acupuncture, gua sha (therapeutic scraping), cupping, Chinese therapeutic massage, Chinese herbal formulas or teas, yoga asana, meditation, breathing practices, guided relaxation, inner-sensing, journaling, mindful healing movement, and holistic lifestyle recommendations.  Outside referrals will be given as needed.

If you would like a specific modality (i.e. facial acupuncture, fire cupping, or massage), please inform me at the time of making an appointment.  Please note, I can only provide specific treatment tools if it is indicated and appropriate to your current state of health.  Please read this entire web page so you know what to expect and are prepared for your session.

I look forward to meeting you.

Deep down, you know there is a way.

But you keep making excuses why "now" isn't a good time.

Deep down you know there is a connection between how you're living and how you're feeling.  You want to feel as good off the mat as you do on the mat.  Finding more balance in your life is a priority.

You want to practice more holistic self-care but you're not sure where or how to start.  You want real, lasting soul-utions that make you feel good from the inside-out. You want someone who will see, acknowledge, and treat you like a whole person, every-single-time.  Someone who will encourage and inspire you to take the steps in life that lead toward feeling good, even amazing.

It's no coincidence you are here.

Send me an e-mail. Let me know if this resonates with you.  I'd be happy to hear from you.

"You are the presence of a million miracles contained in a body."

What to Expect

This is all about YOU

  • Be prepared to talk about yourself.  I know it can uncomfortable.  The more honest, open, and detailed you are the more we can create soul-utions that fit where you are now.

  • Intake, talking, health concerns, wellness goal, and session plan discussion: 30-45 min.

  • Depending on my findings (what you share with me combined with appropriate evaluations), your session may include the following: acupuncture, stretches, breathing exercises, meditation, manual therapies, relaxation techniques, and always nourishing life recommendations, a.k.a "homework."  If we are not in the same location, I may provide additional referrals to local professionals as needed.

  • Please inform me if you have any aversions to fine filament needles.  We can use other options.

How to Prepare for Acupuncture

Day of Your Session

  • Complete the Health & Wellness Questionnaire sent to you in your confirmation e-mail and bring the completed forms with you.  These will take about 15-20 minutes to fill-out.

  • Please RSVP to your confirmation that is sent within 24 hours of your treatment.  I only take on a limited number of patients.  I would like to offer my services to another person if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment.  In short, share the love.  Communicate with me.  I am happy to reschedule you.

  • Drink plenty of water the day of your appointment.

  • Please do not come on an empty stomach. Please eat 1-2 hours prior to your appointment.

  • For conditions traditionally covered by clothing, you will be asked to expose the area of your main concern.  A clean gown will be provided if needed.

  • Pack a light snack (fruit, cut veggies, nuts, or similar).  Many people feel very hungry 20-30 minutes after their treatment.

Aftercare Instructions

Your Body is Still Shifting

  • Drink more water than usual to help facilitate the body's ability to heal and balance.

  • Choose whole foods that are light, easy to digest, and full of nutrients. Choose specific foods recommended to you during your session.

  • Avoid: Heavy, greasy, deep fried foods, icy cold foods and beverages, recreational drugs, alcohol, and smoking of any kind.

  • If you received gua sha or cupping: please keep the marks covered for 24 hours.  For 24 hrs, do not expose them to direct sunlight, cold water, or wind.

  • Feeling drained or warn out by our session:  take a nap, eat (if you need nourishment), spend time in nature, or take an epsom salt bath.  Plan on going to bed earlier.

  • If you have any questions, never hesitate to ask me. I'm here for you.  We're in this together.
